SURPASS-PEDS: Incidence of Hypoglycemia in Pediatric Patients1,2
A table that shows the incidence of hypoglycemia in pediatric patients in the Mounjaro 5 mg (n=32), Mounjaro 10 mg (n=33), and placebo (n=34) groups. Percentages reflect the number of patients who reported at least 1 episode of blood glucose <54 mg/dL in the Mounjaro 5 mg group, Mounjaro 10 mg group, and placebo group, respectively. Incidence of blood glucose <54 mg/dL in patients on background therapy of basal insulin with or without metformin was 3/10 (30%), 3/11 (27%), and 1/10 (10%). Incidence of blood glucose <54 mg/dL in patients on background therapy of metformin alone was 2/22 (9%), 2/22 (9%), and 1/24 (4%).
